Putting a document pack together
Applications often ask for one PDF that holds everything: a CV with certificates, a passport copy with a visa page, or a tender with its supporting documents. Merging them in the order the reader expects makes the pack easier to check and less likely to be sent back.
- Put the main document first (application form, CV or cover letter), then the supporting papers in the order the instructions list them.
- Scanned pages upside down or sideways? Fix them with Rotate PDF before merging, or in Organize PDF afterwards.
- If the merged file is over a size limit, compress it once at the end with Compress PDF. That usually looks better than compressing each part separately.
- For long packs, add page numbers so the reader can refer to “page 7” instead of describing it.
Pages are copied as they are, not turned into images, so text stays selectable and the quality doesn’t drop.
Merge PDF: frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There is no fixed limit. Because merging happens on your own device, the practical limit is your device’s memory — dozens of normal-sized files merge in seconds.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
Can I merge PDFs on my phone?
Yes. PDF Karigar works in the browser on Android and iPhone, so you can pick files from your phone and download the merged PDF.
