Why use PDF Karigar to pdf screenshot?
Select a table, chart, signature or paragraph on any page — or several on different pages — and save each one as a crisp image. Unlike a normal screenshot, every area is drawn straight from the PDF at high resolution, so small print stays sharp.
- Private by design. Files are processed on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or shared.
- Free, with no catch. No sign-up, no watermarks and no daily limits.
- Works everywhere. Runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone.
Getting the best screenshots from a PDF
- PNG or JPG? Choose PNG for text, tables, charts and signatures: it keeps every edge sharp. Choose JPG for photos, where it makes much smaller files.
- Which sharpness? 300 dpi suits documents, slides and sharing on WhatsApp or email. Pick 600 dpi for printing or for zooming into very small print.
- Many clippings? Choose “One PDF” to collect them into a single handout, each at its original size.
- Need the whole page? Use “Whole page” under it, or PDF to JPG for every page at once.
Scanned PDFs are pictures of paper, so a screenshot can only be as sharp as the scan itself. On a phone, switch to Scroll mode to move through the pages, then back to drawing. To turn images back into a document, use JPG to PDF.
PDF Screenshot: frequently asked questions
Is it sharper than a normal screenshot?
Yes. A screenshot can only be as sharp as your screen. PDF Karigar draws each selected area directly from the PDF at 150, 300 or 600 dpi, so text and lines stay crisp even when you zoom in.
Can I capture areas from different pages at once?
Yes. Draw boxes on as many pages as you like. You get one image per selection, together in a ZIP, or all of them combined into one PDF.
How do I paste a selection into WhatsApp, Word or an email?
Select Copy next to the selection, then paste with Ctrl + V. On a phone, long-press where you want it and choose Paste. Copied images are PNG.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened and every image is created in your browser, on your own device.
